Volunteering in the Arboretum

As the WSU Arboretum and Wildlife Conservation Center now begins operations, there will be many opportunities to contribute your time and talents to the Arboretum. Volunteers will be needed to help with the development of nature education programs, guided tours, establishment and maintenance of perennial gardens, rare plant propagation and conservation, restoration activities on Palouse Prairie natural areas, greenhouse work, and plant sales.

Volunteer opportunities are not limited to WSU students. Anyone in the community is welcome to contribute their time and effort. The WSU Arboretum & Wildlife Conservation Center will be built only through the efforts of many, many dedicated people working across decades. The future will be passed on to each individual and group to the next as the Arboretum grows and new projects and gardens are implemented. But the future of the Arboretum begins now and we will announce opportunities to contribute to this future in newsletters and special event postings.
